Out with the old, in with the new
Welcome to mellowvision.com version 10? 11? This site has been a lot of things over many years, and so much of it is still buried deep on the server.
For those who don’t know me, I’m a multi-disciplinary designer and creative director who lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. My graphic design and interactive portfolio spans over a decade of work in advertising, interactive, and identity design, and includes a broad range of clients from Jose Cuervo to Volkswagen to Charles Schwab. Mellowvision.com has always been my playground, a place where I try new things and share my enthusiasm for design and culture. I have frequently changed mellowvision to suit my mood or explore a new idea.
In addition to spending years designing corporate ad campaigns and websites for all sorts of endeavors, I’m also a skilled fabricator and love working with my hands. After graduating from the Product Design department at Parsons School of Design in the early 90’s, I spent several years crafting television sets and exhibitions for some for some of the largest museums in the world. I’ve found myself drawn into the world of fish keeping over the last few years, and have found that aquascaping builds on my experience as a fabricator in a really fun and rewarding way.
So, with new interests in mind, the face of mellowvision changes once again. This time I’ve built a blog format for sharing photos and videos, we’ve got all sorts of plans. It’s going to be awesome. Stay Tuned!
